An extraordinary new program from an extraordinary new klezmer duo. Evans and Csaranko take on the life’s work of clarinet legend Dave Tarras, whose unique repertoire and style defined the “sound of klezmer” throughout the 20th century in the USA. Traditional Yiddish wedding and celebration music from Southeastern Europe blended with Swing and other popular American genres, performed with virtuosity, sensitivity and verve!
